WALK THROUGH THE STORYTELLING
A user-friendly software enables to define various storytelling in alignment with the objectives of the contractual requirements.
Multiple design parameters such as assets (video, photo, text), targeted audience (children, adults, tourists, DYS…), time sequencing, area outline are all managed and controlled to provide coherent walkthroughs.
Interactive touch walls or controlled by devices scale up the possibilities to create a magic digital world to capture the audience of the visitors.
A COLLABORATIVE PLATFORM
The design of an exhibition requires a teamwork involving a collaboration between different groups needing to comment and exchange information all along the production process. Accordingly, role definition and users’ details are specified and managed on Lights of the Century’s software, regulating each collaborator’s access level and giving him individual rights depending on his responsibility in the project.
A PORTFOLIO OF PREDEFINED EFFECTS
It is usually time consuming to master a new tool, and require expertise to create graphical post-production effects (glow, bloom,…). We have therefore designed a vast suite of functions for handling videos as simply as handling a power point animation. These possible transformation options are available in a library and are accessible to an end user wishing to create his own version of a scenography.
A HIGHLY PRECISE 3D PREVIEW ENVIRONMENT
In order to achieve quality performances, it is very essential to rehearse staging and to simulate an overview of the desired final exhibition. At any required moment during the whole process, the designer can use the 3D Preview environment key feature to control and tune the sequencing of the assets of each scene, or to add necessary technical adjustments. By visualizing an exact 3D preview of each room’s performance, the whole design and the final area setting can thus be approved by the curator, and a predictable cost can then be assured before any real implementation.
CAPTURE THE TOPOLOGY OF THE SPACE
We provide 2 perspectives in order to firstly get a top overview of the whole site and secondly a 3D model of each room. With this environment we subsequently define and adjust the position of the projectors to frame the images accurately on the desired sections. The user can then tailor the sequencing of the different assets for the layout adaptation, anticipate the public flow, and achieve the perfect setting for the projectors.
VIDEO PROJECTORS SELECTION
A list of video-projectors with different classifications is available in the library section and new projector types can be added along with their description and characteristics. Hence, a selection of the most suitable projectors is automatically generated according to previously specified criteria, such as the dimensions of the screens and other stated details.
A BOM “bill of material” is also engendered to designate the required equipment to display the selected e-Exhibition.
Special masks are used in order to avoid projection on undesired surfaces such as windows, doors, objects or simply any unwanted spot. The masks can therefore be defined individually on selected screens, overlapping the assets or remodelling the projected image to add other elements.
An innovative Computer Aided Service customizes exhibitions using an algorithm based on AI and assists the operator to adapt the staging according to the topology of a new location. The software considers pre-registered 3D area descriptions and significant loaded information about the exhibition, to finally suggest the most suited layout matching.
SCHEDULE A PROJECTION
The display is planned and tuned in a calendar with a set time and date. Multiple sessions are defined in a very flexible and comprehensive organizer and according to specified criteria, such as the type of audience.
MONITOR THE EQUIPMENTS
The equipment is checked and controlled on the network interface, and reminders are sent to optimize their implementation and technical support.
REMOTLY CONTROL THE PERFORMANCE
The sequence of the exhibition can, at any time, be remotely controlled with an external device.
A highly effective and automated process computes and sets the right parameters of the video-projectors as well as the video post-treatments for an excellent final rendering. The installation is consequently no longer a difficult and tedious task that requires specific expertise as in the past.
